Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Psalms 150:1,2
Lately I have been having some very mixed feelings. With only three weeks let in Nicaragua I m realizing how attached I have become to this country d to this family. I cannot believe that I have to leave this place so soon.
I want to thank you for all for your support over the past year. I want to encourage you to continue to support La Semilla Ministry as they continue God’s work here in Nicaragua. With Christmas approaching the Wiebe’s are planning to make Christmas baskets if you would like to support this project please send donations to EFCCM.
Last Sunday at Bible study we red Psalms 150. Praise the Lord! Lately I have found so my reasons for praising the Lord; feeling the power of the ocean, seeing sky full of stars, seeing God at work in people’s lives and just being blessed in so many ways. We need to remember to just
praise the Lord for all he has done for us.
The last several weeks have been very busy so I will just tell you a little of what has been going on. here in the past two months. In October it rained and rained and then it rained little more. Something like 43 inches of rain in nine days Everything was wet and everything started to mold. The rod to Bible study was impassable for few weeks so we were not able to attend. Just after it stopped raining a short term mission team came down from BC and Alberta. They came to help out with a few projects such as children’s programs, chicken coops and a little bit of planting. I was able to join them for a couple days when they went to Matagalpa to learn about a land bank project and to work alongside the people there.
I thank God for all of my experiences here and ask that you would continue to pray for me and the Wiebe’s here in Nicaragua.
Praise god for…
- - safety while the teams were traveling and the work they did here in Nicaragua
- - all the blessings he has bestowed upon us
- the Wiebe’s and their willingness to follow God to Nicaragua and the joy in serving him here
PLEASE PRAY FOR…
- myself as I prepare to leave and for the Wiebe’s as they prepare to leave for Christmas
- our Nicaragua brothers and sisters Christ that the Church will grow stronger
